HPPSC SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- General/Unreserved/EWS: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (without rounding off) from UGC recognized Universities/Institutions.
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD of H.P.: Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks (without rounding off).
- Final Year Students: Candidates pursuing Master’s degree or awaiting results can apply provisionally but must pass with required percentage within two years from SET result date.
- Exemption: Ph.D. holders (per UGC 2022 regulations) are exempted from NET/SET for Assistant Professor recruitment. Candidates who cleared SET prior to 1st June 2002 are eligible anywhere in India (exempt from NET).
