The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Phase-I online admit cards (Call Letters) for the recruitment of Grade 'B' Officers (Direct Recruit - DR) (On Probation - OP) under the General, DEPR, and DSIM cadres for the Panel Year 2026. This recruitment drive is aimed at filling 60 vacancies. Candidates who completed their online applications between 29th April 2026 and 20th May 2026 can now download their Phase-I hall tickets from the official portal. The Phase-I online examination is scheduled to be held on 13th June 2026 and 14th June 2026 across various centers across India.

Grade 'B' Officers Cadres
Selected candidates will receive competitive pay and allowances:
- Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 78,450/- per month.
- Scale of Pay: Rs. 78,450 - 1,41,600/- (over 16 years).
- Initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA): Approximately Rs. 1,50,374/-.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): 15% of basic pay is paid if bank accommodation is not provided.
1. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - General
Graduation in any discipline / Equivalent technical or professional qualification with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or Post-Graduation in any discipline / Equivalent qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD) in aggregate of all semesters/years.
2. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DEPR
a. MA/MSc in Economics or courses like Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Development Economics, and International Economics with Economics as the principal constituent. OR
b. MA/MSc in Finance or courses like Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, etc. with Finance as the principal constituent.
Note: A minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in aggregate of all semesters/years is required.
3. Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DSIM
a. Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in Statistics / Mathematics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics / Quantitative Economics / Econometrics / Informatics. OR
b. Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Big Data Analytics. OR
c. 4-year Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics / Data Science / AI / ML / Big Data Analytics.

RBI Grade B Phase-I Exam Pattern (General)
The Phase-I Online Examination comprises a single paper of 200 marks containing 4 sections. Candidates must clear both sectional and overall cut-off marks to qualify for Phase-II.
